Screen/video casting to HB 1000S

The HB 1000S is DLNA-compliant, and choosing Humax, Media Share lets me share photos and videos with another DLNA compatible device.

I was under the impression that DLNA would also let me screencast live video from, or screen mirror, another DLNA device?

I'm trying to screencast/screen mirror via my local network, from my Samsung Galaxy Note II to the Humax HB 1000S. Or do I need to buy Chromecast, or something similar? My TV is not DLNA compliant.

The HB-1000S is just a DLNA client.
You cannot cast to it but you could make available content via a DLNA server app on your Note II and then play it from the Humax.
