With BBC SD channels being withdrawn will the Humax software cope when scheduling recordings.?
At the moment you are offered the choice between recording in SD or HD

The prompt for choice of SD or HD recording comes from metadata in the broadcast stream. Presumably as and when HD is the only choice, the metadata will be amended and the prompt will no longer appear.

The change means you can't save disc space by using the SD option.

Not sure if it is strictly necessary but I would be deleting and resetting all my series timers following the change. I do a timer check and set every week anyway once I have studied the latest Radio Times.

What are series timers and how do you reset? I have a 1000s dvr
