Hi, On the 9300 I was able to search the EPG by genre, this was really useful for us, we used to search movies, we would often get some easily missed things for the kids, and us.
Is there a search by genre feature on the 4000t?
Cheers

Ah ha, I shall check there more often before posting, thank you.
The searching by genre only seems to search on programs that are currently on. On the 9300 it searched the whole EPG for 8 days (which was really useful for picking up films to record). Am I missing something else or is the genre search now only for progrmas that are playing at the time?
that would be helpful to know only being about to reach live tv genre.
Isn't that the abilty to select channels based on the channel classification? That does not appear to be a filter for individual programmes based on the 15 freeview catagorisations for individual programmes.
Programme and channel classifications are two different things. One does not replace the other.
Nope, as it stands, definitely as posted in FAQ, and further HH is correct it only produces results for what's on now and next, useless really.
Useless indeed, Barry. That was a useful feature (for me anyway). We are considering buying something like Radio Times just to see what's coming up on TV, the current EPG is far from great.
