PVR 9300T, owned for about a year.

Perhaps since the latest retune, perhaps not, there has been a buzzing sound and a blue line across the screen, especially when there is a lot of white in the picture.

    Digital terrestrial freeview.

Happens with real time watching, and when watching recordings.

I thought it was my JVC LCD TV, but when I view using inbuilt freeview on TV, no interference.

    Can anybody advise?

    Welcome to the forum

How are you connecting the 9300t?

If by scart lead then try reversing it - ie plug the end that was in the TV into the 9300t etc. Unscreened scart leads can pick up interference from the output from the TV. Using a fully screened scart would correct that as would using a one directional cable.

If HDMI cable then I'll leave it for others to suggest a cause.

    Thanks for the welcome.

I changed the scart lead round and it made no difference, but I had it connected through a signal enhancer since I have a weak signal here. I have changed the lead to come direct from the screen to the Humax and the interference sound has gone - THANK YOU.

I have waited for a couple of days and there has been no further problem.
What I can't understand is that I had the same set-up for 6 months (new screen then) with no physical change. Why would this interference start? Would it be something to do with the Freeview retuning?
