Everytime my box reboots it always starts with the subtitles being shown and I wondered how you could turn this off? yes i have seen in settings but it does not stay at that - with it off I mean.
(please exclude the clumsy english I am drink vodka atm 
Mine does that sometimes as well, just switch off subtitles using bottom left button on remote....
Yes. Thank you Davy. I know I can do this but I don't want to do it *every* time though.
I know that but don't think there is much else to sort this problem. Doesn't happen all the time to my unit so maybe someone else has a permanent fix for this?
well it happens EVERY time on mine and it is irritating. Hopefully someone will pick up on this ......
I wonder if I did a new 'install' of the box wheter that would sort it?
So my next question becomes .... How do I do a factory reset?
Settings - System Settings - Factory Default
Make a note of your recording schedule first, you will have to re-enter it.
