Basically on the New Zealand/Australia Highway Patrol type programmes, they flash on the screen so quickly, it makes them useless most of the time. They're fine through Freeview, and through the built-in Freesat tuner on the bedroom (Samsung) tv.

HDR 1000S (with presumably latest firmware).

....and I've posted in the wrong section [facepalm], should be HDR 1000s

Admin Edit: Moved to correct area.

I can read then on the current programme - The Flash (fast reader) but they do go off pretty quickly. Just tried 106 and they are pretty much the same speed.

    EDIT

Short video clip downloadable from here. Should play in VLC or similar.

    Thanks

Just checked that programme and some of the longer text (maybe two lines worth) appear for a split-second and impossible to read in time. Wonder what it could be with my box.

See my edit - I could try and get a two line example if you think it would help. The bit I videoed has only short examples.

It's not your box, just found an example on Pick +1. I will post a link when I have uploaded it. No need to bother with YouTube.

    EDIT

    I would contact the broadcaster.

If you get nowhere fill in a OFCOM on line complaint form.
