I've purchased an Aura for use in a room that only has space for a 27" screen. I have been testing the Aura with my existing HDMI PC monitor and it seems to work OK but I need to buy a new monitor to go with the Aura. I also expect to have to buy a soundbar as monitor speakers are poor. Are there suggestions about what features to look for please? IPS seems to be have wider viewing angles than TN. I'm thinking about buying this Ben Q. I want a thin bezel as space is limited.
I was not wanting to pay for a 4K monitor as this set up is for occasional use and I don't think that 4k is worth the extra cost on a small screen but I'm concerned about possible problems with scaling - though both Freeplay and apps look uk on my existing PC monitor. Thanks!

How tight is the 27in restriction? Would a 28in TV definitely not fit in there? Sorry if that sounds like I'm trying to rephrase your question, as you'll probably have already considered and dismissed this!!

The 27" is not a 'hard' restriction but we don't really want to go over it. I did look at TVs but there are not many around at that size and it seemed to be a waste of money to buy a tuner that we would never use! We do have a larger TV connected to a much older Humax and the aerial is no longer connected to the TV - we just watch recorded content from the Humax or cast to a Chromecast. I'm trying to keep the new set up as simple as possible.

If you going for a monitor then I would suggest a ips paneling which will have wider viewing angles and better colour accuracy.

You can get one with built on speakers they are generally around 2w to 5w. LG monitors and some Phillips have better speakers.

You can also buy any usb speakers that plug into the monitor which will be more than sufficient.

    Thanks
