There are some symbols I don't understand and are not in the manual.
Some of my recordings have a white N in a red circle.
Some of the programs on the guide have red triangle in a white circle.
Some have a white triangle in a dotted line circle.
Anyone know what these means please?

Anyone know what these means please? At least one of them means that the programme is available in catch up. If it's one with ads and you prefer to record and use the box ad skipping controls. Press info and choose the record option.
Cant look at the epg at the moment.

Below is from the manual
I believe the red triangle in the circle means as Graham says, its available in catch up services, white triangle with dotted line circle mean it will be available in catch up services soon

Edit: whilst drafting this, distracted, and Harters useful post appearedI keep on reading the manual, but haven't had the confidence to buy one yet as I need to read a few more positive posts before I put the clunky 4000 out to pasture
