Hi, under Recordings on the left hand side is a greyed out option 'To be deleted' was just wondering what this option is for as i have never been allowed to highlight it, many thanks.

Interesting. Any ideas how auto-delete actually works? What's the criteria and when does it delete?

From experience with other Humax units:
Oldest recordings deleted first unless locked is how it should work, not tested by me as yet.

I am unable to set Auto Delete on. It is highlighted in blue and set to Off but can't be changed.

I am unable to set Auto Delete on. It is highlighted in blue and set to Off but can't be changed. Was the box recording or within 20 mins of a accurate recording due to start. If so many of the options aren't selectable. Check the recording schedule for both conditions and if clear try again.

Thanks for replying but I've checked the schedule just now and the next scheduled recording is 5 hours away and the Auto Delete is still stuck at Off. Both Start Padding Time and End Padding Time are set to Auto. Can this have anything to do with it?
