Is there any way I can transfer/copy the recordings on my PVR-9300T to my HDR-2000T?

If you open the 9300T and attach the hard drive to a PC then you can use humaxrw to copy the files off to the PC. You can then copy them on to the HDR-2000T from a USB drive. Alternatively if your Humax is connected to the network you can enable the FTP server on the HDR-2000T and use an FTP client (eg Filezilla) to transfer the files directly. Only transfer the .ts file; the format of the sidecar files is different on the HDR-2000T.

Thanks Martin. This is all new to me but I'll give it a bash. I managed to revert my Nexus 10 back to KitKat from Lollipop so surely this'll be easier!

What is humaxrw? Is that software for the PC?

Or, using ftp, when you say "transfer the files directly" do you mean transfer direct from PC to the HDR? Is the bottom end that I've got to remove the HDD from the 9300 and attach to PC? What if I put the 9300 HDD into an external hard drive case and attach to the HDR by USB?

The filesystem on the 9300 is proprietary and the HDR will not be able to view the files directly but you can use an external hard drive case to attach to the PC and use humaxrw to extract the files. Once off you could reformat the drive and copy the files back from the PC.
    humaxrw is available here http://myhumax.org/blog/?file_id=8

Yes available from this very Forum see MyHumax Blog

    Yes.

    Yes.

Nothing much will happen because the HDR-2000T doesn't understand the non-standard file system of the 9300

Look at the FAQ section for the 9300T see https://myhumax.org/forum/forum/9150t-9200t-9300t-pvr039s You will see posts about humaxrw and the GUI front end. If you scroll down to the end of the posts you will find links to download them.

I can't do this. Can anyone help with very simple instructions?
I've removed the HDD from my 9300T and have a SATA to USB cable attaching it to my PC. My PC does not recognise that anything is plugged into USB port. Now what do I do? I just want to save a few recordings onto USB stick as upgrading to 2000T...

What type of SATA to USB adapter are you using? It MUST supply 12V; there are a lot of adapters around that are intended for 2.5" drives or SSD drives that do not require 12V.
