Hello clever people. I am new to this forum but have read through lots of helpful info here.

I have a PVR300T and am will be updating to a 2000 series. Please can you advise me if there is a straight forward way of transferring my favourite recordings off the old machine on to the new one.

I am not a technology fan (getting a bit old in the tooth I think) but will be able to follow simple instructions if there are any.

Thank you so much for your help

The only way that I am aware of involves opening the Humax, connecting the hard drive to a PC (using a SATA to USB adapter is perhaps the easiest way) and then using a piece of software called humaxrw to copy the program files from the 9300 to the PC. They can then be transferred to an HDR-2000T using an FTP client such as Filezilla. I doubt that those constitute simple instructions but I don't think there is an easier way.
