TV connection to Humax Freesat

I have just had a Samsung QE49Q6FNAT TV installed. How can I set it up so that on switch on it is connected directly/automatically via the HDMI to my Humax FREESAT box? This worked well on my previous system, but not sure how I set it up for new TV above.

TV's normally select the last used HDMI port when you boot them up. Are you saying your Samsung selects a different HDMI port when you turn it on. ?

I think you are looking for the CEC feature which on a Samsung TV is called Anynet+.

Mind, I don't like CEC as it can be flaky between two devices from different manufacturers and prefer to use a Harmony universal remote control to handle this kind of thing.
