    Hi welcome to the forum.

I only have a HD FOX T2 but the UI is nearly the same.

Menu/Settings/System/Internet Setting does it say network connected ?

If not choose configure LAN and choose DHCP.

Can you see the HDR in Windows Explorer using the network option ?

My HD FOX T2 just worked when connected to my router.

If you have a laptop connect it to the homeplug by the hdr. Turn off the wireless connection. Can you still use the internet ?

Sounds like you have two items using the same ip address. Go back to the hdr network setup and choose the configure option. Make a note of all settings. Change the option to manual. Enter all the numbers you noted but change the last three digits of the IP address you first noted after the last dot to say 220. Check you have the connected message and try the portal again.
