    Morning,

Got a new HB 1000S to replace the G1 model and when I turn-off the tv power on my Sony TV remote and it also powers off the Humax.

There may be something simple I'm doing wrong - I have the sound from the Humax outputting to my bedroom stereo so I can listen to the radio through that but can't do it now as turning off the tv turns off the Humax - I had to plug out the tv last night.

    Any solution?

    Welcome to our Forum

Sounds like a HDMI CEC issue?

    Try turning off Bravia Sync

Had the same problem with my Panny, as Barry says it's due to HDMI syncing between the TV and PVR. Check your settings on the TV.

Splendid lads - I'll try the suggested when I get home - Bravia Sync is most likely the cause.

REPASSAC - I've ben a long time reader of the Forum but never registered as I never had an issue with the older Freesat machines - I upgraded both this week and both have given me grief (stupidly upgrade the software on HDR100S and I'm a victim of the Showcase no longer working bug) - progress 'eh.

    Thanks again.

    Thanks again.

I should have realised that my suggestion was very untypical of your problem (possible perhaps). For some reason I did not think HDMI-CEC which is the obvious problem.

Sorry you have the Showcase/OD problem - hope it is fixed PDQ.
