    Hi all,
Last night i tried to watch some content on iplayer.
I got a message saying that i need to connect my box to the internet. A bit confusing as its been set up from the day i bought the box!
Anyway i pressed connect and a message told me i was connected up.
But whrn i attempted to ooen iplayer (and others: uktv play etc) i got the original message. Telling me that my box wasnt connected.
I've seen that this is an issue on another section of the forum (HB 1000s) so it is obviously an ongoing problem.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks.

Cross posting from another thread - hopefully that's ok:

This happened to me yesterday (7th sept 23).

Did some packet sniffing on the network and discovered it is a DNS issue.

The Humax host test.humaxtvportal.com is not resolving properly:
    test.humaxtvportal.com. 43200 IN CNAME humaxwebtest.cloudapp.net.
    humaxwebtest.cloudapp.net. 10 IN A 0.0.0.0

I have emailed uksupport@humax-digital.co.uk - not sure if we'll get any response.

This is probably the app they use to test broadband speed.

Apologies, I'm crossposting in two threads, I've fixed it on my network by locally defining the missing IP address for test.humaxtvportal.com.

Humax need to reconfigure their DNS configuration.

Confirmed - this is now fixed. They have reconfigured host test.humaxtvportal.com to IP Address: 20.123.36.129
