    Hi,
After selecting an iPlayer programme to play, there is a long delay then a message box stating "Something went wrong - try again later". I think the error is 02001.
I get the problem both on wireless and Ethernet connection.
We have recently upgraded to Talk Talk fibre (from Talk Talk adsl), but as we rarely use the iPlayer I am not sure I it likely to be the cause.
Spoke to FreeSat and they said that as I can use ITV player OK, it must be a BBC delivery issue and nothing to do with FreeSat.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Tried a reset? Which programme. Was it from backwards epg or app?

    Hi Bughtlin,

When you say a reset, do you mean power off / on, or factory reset?
Have power cycled the box but not done a factory reset as we still have some recorded progs to watch.
It will not play any past prog on iPlayer.
Fails when driven backwards on epg, On Demand in menu and I think also when driven by the app.
I do have a WDTV box connected to the same router and that plays progs on iPlayer fine.

    Thanks,

    Ken

A reset won't affect your existing recordings, just the recording schedule. I can check (after better half has finished watching Bargain Hunt) that iplayer is still working.

Did you try both the backwards epg and via the On Demand option ?

Iplayer working OK for me (back epg earlier today). Seems likely to be network related. Perhaps a call to Talk Talk customer support would help.

    Hi,

I have followed the above link instructions (turning off router and Humax, turning on router, waiting for Internet then turning on Humax) - Still does not work! Just the circle going round followed by the something went wrong message.

In case it matters, the Humax box is an 1100s, not a 1000 as I think I mentioned earlier.

Think I will have to try a factory reset and let you know.

I checked out a HDR 1010S and 1100S and it is working ok for me.

Factory reset would appear to be your best option.
