I have a DVD drive with usb cable that can be used with a PC to play a DVD on the PC.
It’s not recognised by the HDR-7500T.
Is that to be expected??

Welcome to the forum, this is a UK based forum, and your Humax is for the Australian market, so there are unlikely to be many members familiar with your PVR.
What would you expect to be able to do with the DVD drive when it is connected to your Humax?

Many thanks for reply! My humax is several years old. I was looking for a way to play DVDs via Humax to TV.

This will not work, you will have to use a conventional DVD player, and connect it to your TV.
