    Hi,

I have recently purchased the HDR1000S in order to get Freesat, but am becoming very frustrated with this machine.Despite what the user manual says - once a program is being recorded I seem unable to change over and watch another program. This appears only to happen if I try and hange programs once the program being recorded has commenced recording.

Has any one else found this to be a problem or am I doing something wrong with the controller?

Any help will be much appreciated - thank you

    Bob.

Did you install the unit with only 1 cable and add the second later ? What does it say at the bottom of settings - System Information - Signal info ? freesat box connected with ? cable ? ( 1 or 2)

One good clue is start a recording now press the programme up or down button several times, even if the second cable is faulty you should be able see other channels. You can even record two as well try recording 108 and 109 at the same time.
