Getting fed up with my hDR 1100S remote.
I have to press the forward & back buttons several times before it will work as it should.
The same applies to all the buttons on the remote (press several times).
I bought it from john Lewis, so is it worth talking to them do you think?

How long since you purchased it?

    thanks.
Just to mention...I also took out their "Added Care " policy.
But really wanted to know if this is a common fault b/4 I take it further.

No problems with the original remote that came with my early HDR-1000s.

It's amongst the most responsive of the newer Humax models.

Get it replaced either via your retailer or via Humax.

The FVP-5000T remote is a different question. Not the remote the box has a slow UI.

Well, I called JL and they couldn't help, so called Humax.
Went through a couple of things with the guy, and he came to the conclusion (at last!!!) that it needs replacing.
just had to answer some questions etc on an email he sent.
    So, job done (fingers crossed)

    Thanks again guys.

Received the new remote from Humax under the warranty yesterday, and it's now working great
I hope it last's like this, and not a fault that occurs later.
