My 2000T is whisper quiet too. You can happily use it in a bedroom without it keeping you awake, although that's about the only good thing I can say about it.
I'm sure some niggles could be fixed with some software updates, but Humax seems to have abandoned this model altogether.
Yes I think you are right. Their entire focus of late appears to be the 4000T. I wouldn't be totally surprised if they dropped the 2000T from their line up at some point.
