I'm being told onscreen I have no wifi internet connection, so in settings I locate my router/modem and I'm asked to type in the password to get access and reconnect the wifi, but there is no qwerty image to do so and trying to find a way using the remote gets me nowhere. I've restarted the Aura box and modem/router without any success too. I would appreciate if anyone has a solution.

Have you actually turned the electrical power off for 3o seconds to see if that helps when the box is restarted?

Yes, I've turned of "everything" and restarted the Aura a number of times and even tried again at you suggestion. I'm thinking a total reset is the only remaining option left and not looking forward to that! Thank-you for your reply though. It's interesting though that the problem has not been picked up by anybody else - surely it cannot just be me???

I think I've seen this problem mentioned before.

I had this issue once, it turned out that because I also had a network cable plugged in, my wifi would not connect. I removed the cable, then wifi let me connect.

I removed the cable, then wifi let me connect. That's certainly true for the FVP-5000T. Never had that problem with the Aura. Both LAN (for connection to computer) and WiFi (for internet) in use without the problem described.
Regarding the lack of keyboard. I think when I couldn't access it I tried using the arrow keys and OK and managed to make it appear. (That's from a fuzzy memory in the deep recess of my mind, so could be wrong!)

Here's an update. I thought, with nothing to lose, I would connect a TP Link Deco wi-fi mesh unit that I use for my Sonos system directly by ethernet cable to the Aura STB. It would seem to work?? I'm keeping an eye on it but it doesn't seem to have any apparent downside. Is anybody able to help me understand this please.
