Morning all, I switched my Aura on this morning and got message HDCP not supported on your TV and sound but no picture. The Aura has been fine for four years without this problem, why now? I have done a Free view reset and unplugged it from the socket. Has anyone had this before and is there a cure? I've had to revert to my ultra slow FVP5000.

Thanks for the reply and a good article, my tv is only two and a half years old Sony and the handshake has worked fine for four years. Will percivere with a fix and report back, cheers.

I have seen this problem occur on a small number of occasions but in my case just putting the box into standby and then starting it up again is usually enough to resolve the issue. I think on one occasion I needed to turn the power off (after putting the box in standby) to get it going again. Also check that the HDMI cable is properly seated at both ends.

Cheers Martin, decided to connect it up again after inactivity of a few hours and lo and behold it is now working again. I don't know if the rest or me standing over it with a hammer did the trick.Thank you to you both for your input.
