Redirection started early October, however it does load the YT app correctly about 20% of the time, perhaps less
When redirected there is zero functionality
    Any suggestions welcome
    Many thanks

Software Build Date 12 June 2020

Same on my FVP-4000T, it all started last week around the same time I player stopped working on my machine. U tube has been hit and miss since then but today it won't work at all.

    Here too
This started around a week or so back, intitially I was able to get on after 2-3 attempts, but as of the past 24 hours, no access at all. I have tried casting from my smartphone (I believe this was suggested elsewhere on this thread) but had no luck there.
Interestingly, the current problem with YouTube access started around the same time that the BBC iPlayer became non operational and this has prompted me to consider whether this is a related problem. After all - Humax pulled out of the market for these boxes not long back, so have they put maintaining updates on a low priority?

FVP-5000T began showing erratic behaviour about a week ago. Youtube would not load at first attempt. As of October 8th YouTube shows a message about loading app from app store then redirects and shows a blank youtube home screen.

New Issue with 5000T this morning. Trying Youtube I get "Connection Has Failed - Please check your network connections and try later)

Network is connected by cat 5 cable, My5 Works OK). All my kit is connected to a network switch so all units use the same connection to the router network switch.

If I use my Phone and try casting I get the grey screen others have posted.

1000S does not say connection has failed just get the connecting to YouTube message.

I'm starting to think that Humax haven't been paying their rent.

My new PVR 5000T is now also affected by this issue. It started happening yesterday. So I now have this issue as well as being unable to play programmes using the BBC iPlayer app. I’ll be watching out for those fixes.

Just spoken to Humax, a known problem for which they blame YouTube. Working on a fix but can’t tell me how long.
