News for 4000/5000T owners.
A phased roll out of new software commenced on Monday.
Full rollout expected to be by middle of next week if no problems reported.
More when/if I get it.Just checked my s/w after reading this post and see my 5000T has a new version with a build date of 13th January.
Search seems to work but the back/return still doesn’t work even though it is shown on the screenThank you for the confirmation.

Thank you Martin. At the moment I have the April 2019 s/w as when I installed the fix kindly supplied by Barry it rolled back to this from the June 2020 one that I had previously. So I have access to YouTube search.

Good morning,
Not sure if other users that have updated are finding the Youtube update fix still has problems? Although the Search function works correctly, you still can't use the "Back" function, at least I can't on my box. The only button you can use is "Exit" that closes Youtube completely! Also the Fwd/Rwd buttons don't function. You can only advance by dragging the marker along the red banner play line on the video.
Hopefully Youtube will resolve this? Even if I use my Tablet to stream to the box, it still has same problem. If I use another hardware device: TV's own Youtube or a Blu-Ray Player everything appears to run smoothly. so the problem must be connected with the Humax 1100S pvr? Be interested to know if anyone else has found this. John L

Hi. I’m following this post because I have a HDR-1100S and have the same YT search issues that many on here are reporting. My system says it was last updated in August 2018, software version UKSFAA 3.00.96. It also says that there is no update available.
Is my software well out of date? Will the fix from Barry help me?
Thanks

AlexHi AlexWat,
You need to PM (message Graham directly on forum as per his link earlier) for a link to the updated software. You have to use a USB stick to update software. Not currently available on internet. Just to note: there is still a problem with some of the functions. Worth getting update so that at least you can use it until hopefully a further fix becomes available. John L
