    Hi Barry (and all users).

Just in case you didn't know, 3.00.98 (03 MAY 2021) installs automatically on the HB-1100S. I did have a couple of issues (YouTube not counting down on Ads so never playing, and BBC iPlayer not loading) but it seems more stable today. It is disappointing that the software doesn't seem to offer any new features, and the Humax page is still littered with obsolescent/obsolete "apps".

Thanks again for your efforts Barry. Much appreciated.

    Best Wishes
    Stuart

    Hi Barry,

Any chance you could please provide details of the firmware for a HDR-1100S to fix the missing keyboard letters in the youtube app search function?

    It'd be much appreciated.

It's been frustrating us for a while so was delighted to find this thread!

    Many thanks,

    David

Is there a fix for the fvp-5000t?, I've been waiting for Humax to update for months and just get the feeling it will never happen. It's a good game trying to guess the letters by the number of clicks but It gets wearing after a few goes.

    1 minute later edit

Wait, the minute I posted this, I checked my youtube and it seems it's been fixed.

    How spooky is that?

    10 minute later edit

The letter search is fixed but I cannot back uo to the menu, still 80% of the problem removed.

tomf: The fix for the 5000T YT search (but not Back) went live several months ago (Edit: In February). Don't know why your box failed to pick it up earlier.
