    Thanks to all for feedback, I also have a DVD recorder, so good to know that it could be used

    I have found one annoying feature and that is with the TV signal being sent through 3 devices, that now with the Youview box added, it takes about 3 minutes before the other devices get a signal ! I have enabled the pass through feature, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

    I wonder if there is another option that anyone might know about..

    Nothing much, sadly. Charge your phone, perhaps.

    I used mine to power a DAC.

    A colleague just said to me, that he heard one might be able to connect a keyboard or mouse ! for whatever for is not known yet.

    Sorry, I'd forgotten about that. It was part of YouView's accessibility package, which was required by the BBC Trust as one of the conditions for allowing the BBC to participate.
