This model has been discontinued so will not get any further updates.
What software version is it on?

Not sure I will ask, I updated my 9150T and was very impressed with the results in conversation with a work mate he told me he had a 9200T which was locking up now and again I thought a simple update would deal with this looks like I was wrong

The last software update was May 2010 if that helps.

The latest version for the 9200T is 1.00.23; if he is using an earlier version then this version may help. Otherwise we need more information about the circumstances in which it locks up to diagnose the problem.

Morning the software is may 2010 PGXTF 1.00.23
the problem is when it goes to stand-by the clock time goes we have just four small lines no time the machine does not switch on and record when timed recording are set, it will record manually if the record button is pressed and a timed recording also works but only if left switched on once the machine is turned off it is off and no time displayed

The clock board needs cleaning which isn't particularly difficult see Link to DigitalSpy clock board thread

Just confirm you have --:-- in STANDBY and not ---- before doing anything but my guess is you've got --:--.

You need to look at this thread but the link to JefUK's dismantling instructions on Hummy.org doesn't work so also look at this thread where it does work. Also look at my recent post #356 on the Digital Spy thread.

Try doing a Default Setting to cure the lock-up problem, note it is unrelated to the clock problem.
