Agreed, or it could simply be that JVC who already had those slots booked, said "hey, we paid for that slot. You can have your turn in a few weeks.."
Its possible that the DTG double booked in error..

Well if it isn't 1.03.12 in two weeks time we'll know.

    Shall we rest it here.

It couldn't have been fit for purpose else it wouldn't have been pulled, that stands to reason.

I have already stated this is nonsense.

    Humax's poor handling of events.

Did you read my post about who suspended the update.

Just saying nothing when the update was pulled would have been far better.

and look what happened elsewhere, all sorts of conspiracy theories, all of which are wrong, as are all the 'guesses' on here so far. The only reason I stated on here it was suspended was because some users were having trouble getting the update, and I did not want to see them wasting time and fretting that something might be amiss with their equipment - lesson learned.

The update was not suspended because of the EPG 'lagging', and as I have previously stated in post # 49 Humax are aware of this issue.

As a Humax customer we have a right to know

No you don't - It is a matter for Humax and the DTG, and if they do not want to release the info, so be it.

I'll say it again because this appears to be falling on deaf ears...

There is nothing wrong with the update as far as users are concerned, notwithstanding the EPG lag which as usual has been blown out of all proportion in some quarters. The new apps which will be launched later work, your boxes have not been bricked.

I am temporarily closing this thread, will re-open when I have more news.

    Edit: 17/04

I see more nonsense has appeared elsewhere, none of it worthy of repeating as it is erroneous as usual.

Transmission of the OTA is to recommence next week.

Starts at 2am and finishes at midnight as follows:

    07/05 - 11/05

More dates in May have been booked, seeking clarification before I post.

Same version, same release note as in post 1.

Hopefully that will shut up the people with conspiracy theories about some terrible problem with 1.03.12. However the people complaining about the EPG response will probably surface again; do you know if Humax intend to do anything about it Barry?

Any sign of an update for the HD Fox T2? My parents have one and were planning to add a hard disc to record things with it. I warned them not to until we get 1.03.12 for it.

Whilst they are aware, I have had no feedback on the issue recently - will chase up.

Received the following from Humax today (2 May 2014):

Thank you for contacting Humax Support.

The next update for the HDR Fox T2 will be next week. You will be prompted to update when it is released and this will fix the slow scrolling issue.

    Best Regards,

I can't see how it will fix the slow scrolling issue given that we've already been told it's the samme version number.
