    Hi,

I also can not pause or rewind LIve TV since the update, recordings and On Demand are fine. I have switched off at the mains and reset to factory settings but still to no avail. Any other ideas?

Disc Cleanup, or even Format the hard drive.
Bear in mind that a Format will delete all recordings.

I had this after a series of power cuts. It sounds like hard disk corruption - solution is to reformat it.

p.s. Only power off the unit from full standby as it is, nearly always, recording to the disk buffer.

hi I've tried the disc clean up still nothing. I've heaps of recordings and don't want to lose if I format the hard drive. Any other suggestions?

Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

If it's caused by disc corruption in the buffer then your only option would be a format.

Unless you use a different name on DS then at least one other has the issue

By not being able to pause or rewind live tv

I don't know if this would work at all, but you could try pressing record while watching live tv, let it record for a few mins and then delete it.
