It's great to be able to watch all the programmes that we want, skipping the adverts (and that includes those on the beeb, just as annoying) - in fact we rarely watch live TV now, it seems odd to do so. And no subscription to pay either!

    I own a Humax Fox T2 HDR

I like the fact I get all the functionality I want without paying an outrageous amount to Sky or Virgin. The box works perfectly and I couldnt ask for much more!

The networking facility is brilliant - I can stream HD movies from my NAS Media Server via the T2 to the TV. Excellent quality and good FF / Rewind controls. Adds an extra 'dimension' - over and above the very good HD and TV recording functions.

I like its reliability. I can go on holiday for 2 weeks and I know it will record my favorite programmes.

    I love it

I don't own a humax yet, I'm here doing research. The thing that impresses me most has to be the dlna feature on hdr fox t2, cracking geek fodder!

My Foxsat PVR is my second freesat machine. The first was cheaper but not such good quality. It could not stream HD channels properly, despite claiming to. So I sent it back.
My Humax Foxsat is a quality machine, nice looking and quiet. I like that, when the remote control broke (outside the 1 year warranty, after I lost the receipt), I could still buy a genuine replacement.

    No Problems
That's what I love best about my FoxsatHDR. Apart from minor config
problems in the Non Freesat area trying to bring in my three satellites there have been No Problems.
Years ago I had an analogue Pace box and enjoyed German Jazz concerts late into the night and replaced that with another Pace, then a Technomate digi box when I added a new dish and two more satellites, then a new PC gave me DVB Dream also.
Being old and non techie I constantly had problems with all of these units.
So its thanks to Humax and to you guys on this forum who give us such help and advice.
