I have a Fox Sat HDR and I love the fact that I can get satellite HD TV without having to subscribe to Sky!

I like my HUMAX Foxsat-HDR unit because it:
1. Can show a large number of channels now and probably many more in the future.
2. Can show programs in High Definition free of charge.
3. Is able to record a TV programme and show a different one simultaneously.
4. Easily connects up to my ethernet system allowing us to watch a missed TV program via the BBC's iPlayer in comfort on our sofa, instead of having to watch it sitting on stools in my cramped study.| Fri 24 Feb 2012 17:44:09 #134 | -
I like my HUMAX Foxsat-HDR unit because it:
Makes watching TV a pleasure again.
We can watch what WE want, when WE want to, not just when the broadcasters decide to air...

Our 9200T has revolutionised our viewing. Programme clashes, phone interruptions, loo breaks, no problem just hit a button!
I particularly like the "search by genre" feature to find upcoming items and the PIP means I can follow two live events easily.| Sat 25 Feb 2012 7:39:03 #136 | -

I like my Humax freesat recorder because it has allowed me to keep recording my favourite tv shows without paying Sky £55 a month.

I have owned a 9200T and more recently a FoxT2-HDR.What I have appreciated most is the continual update program which Humax have provided on their products. It goes without saying that PVRs have changed the way we watch TV.
What I most regret is that Humax is a private company in which I couldn't buy shares on the open market!!Eddie
