I have had internet connection problem since I purchased 4000T early this year.
OS 1. 01.34 I'm connected by WiFi with a good signal with WiFi Extender.
My way around the problem is to Re-Boot 4000T once every day it then connects every time.
I now use a plug timer in the mians set OFF at midnight and ON 07.00

Well it's depressing to hear this may be a long term problem. But confusing that there seem to be quite a few people (although not everyone) having this problem intermittently for the first time over the last few days. But I have restarted my machine and catchup is back! Mind you a restart didn't work last time I had this problem, so I am now thoroughly confused.

Mine has been working fine since I corrected the DNS address on my WiFi hotspot. (Humax box is connected to the hotspot with a LAN cable).
Have been using BBC Iplayer and ITV player most of the day.
    Location here is East Sussex.

Mine was back a while ago, in Manchester. Perhaps its a server/router/dns problem. not sure if the box needs to be in contact with humax to work. Tv was ok on iplayer.

Mine went down this morning and is still down, it is hard wired to the router. Cannot get any of the on demand services, however if I share youtube from phone to box it launches youtube and this works fine. I was on the phone to them Saturday morning due to the number of recordings failed due to power failure they suggested turning the CEC on and waiting for a firmware update later this month, as they are already familiar with this fault. Now every time I turn the box off the TV goes off!!! Starting to get bored of this box already!!

Well its working again now so must have been their servers. But this box is one of the worst Humax have ever made with all the random crashes to the awful interface its put me off from a Humax in the future.

Since the update my one is slow in connecting to the internet, it takes sometimes up to 2 or 3 minutes after taking it out of standby before the message appears at the top of the screen saying connected to the internet, but before the update it used to connect almost straight away.
