Hi Martin,
I would gladly provide a copy of the Humax Foxsat HDR 1.00.21 Firmware. I have kept a copy of the original last firmware version from many years ago. Used to be easy to access. Do you know how I can upload it to the My Humax forum, so others can also access a copy if needed? John L

Alternatively if you have a Dropbox account (I use the free version), you could copy it into a folder and post a link here.

Hi Martin,
Thank you for your excellent tip. Just gone onto Dropbox. Hopefully the link below will help anyone. But hopefully admin will add file to the forum. The dropbox free access only lasts 30 days, so if anyone wants to copy file, it should hopefully be there. John L
Humax Foxsat HDR Original firmware download. Instructions are also provided for installing on pvr.

The last release was about 12 years ago and it doesn't appear to be available from official sources.
Links to personal archive copies do get posted up from time to time, for example
https://myhumax.org/forum/topic/humax-foxsat-hdr-2
I don't have a MS sign in so can't check if it is still there if not, let us know. It's not there any more - any other clues, please?
Hi egrarobar,
Hopefully link provided will help you.
Please let me know if this worked for you. John L

The dropbox free access only lasts 30 days, so if anyone wants to copy file, it should hopefully be there. My free Dropbox has been in use for years. If you register at https://www.dropbox.com/en_GB/basic then I think there is no 30 day limit but limit of 2GB of stored data.

Thanks everyone for your help. I have copied the file and instructions to my own Dropbox folder. I trust this will work. Good teamwork!
Thanks very much again - it's great to be able to ask and get a clear answer.
Not like most places nowadays... But forums are brilliant for this kind of thing.| Mon 8 Apr 2024 17:40:48 #20 |
