    Have you installed VLC on the Aura and tried playing the files with that?

    Thanks, yes, that does work. But it's a pretty cumbersome way of doing things. Still, looks as though it's as good as it's going to get for now. Rather disappointing and a bit thoughtless from Humax, I think. But thanks for persevering with me.
