    I am thinking f updating my 4000t to an aura, but at the moment I access my 4000t using an infra red programmable remote (Philips Pronto). Will this work with the Aura. Realise I may not be able to use the google services but that doesn't bother me.

    Looking at my Aura remote, I don't see infrared sensor on the front, it seems to operate using Bluetooth.

    You clearly haven't read the instructions.

    Your right, I havent read the manual, just a quick glace at the remote that was in my hand at the time of repying.. My aura is in the cupbaord with no directly line of sight from the remote, so its clerar Im using Bluetooth.

    The manual does say it has Infrared however:
