Some of you may know that BBC iPlayer has stopped working on some Samsung TV's. It's an 02001 error. It's not related to the connection to the internet. Humax is now doing it along with NVidia Shield. Mobile variants of the app is working perfectly. TV varients seem to be banjaxed.

Can anyone please report that Thier BBC iPlayer is working or not?

    Thanks.

Works OK on my LG TV. I'll try my Samsung UE43JU7000 in a bit when HWMBO has finished watching HUTH

    Yep, that works fine also.

Works fine on my HDR-1000s and LG 6300PLB. It also works on my Android Apps and Fire TV stick.

Also problems with stv player. I can watch the adverts but when it comes to the main feature, I get another error!

In have tried to update firmware however it appears to be up to date.

My only concern is that I watching this through a VPN (UK IP address) and this may be being highlighted as recycled by both BBC and ITV.

Will have to do more investigation as this worked I'm the past!

It is to do with using a proxy or vpn. My brother, who has a TV license, but spends a lot of time in Thailand, has been contacted by his VPN provider.

They will continue to 'hide' their customer's ip but can no longer 'hide' their own ip addresses. This is due to court action by the BBC.

NVidia Shield using Express VPN on router and local app working. All services apart from My5
    Sony XF90 same as above.
Android Phone all and My5 working.
Humax box not working on any catch-up. All failing.

Yeah. It's Lanned in using CAT6 to router using assigned IP address.

Strange isn't it. Its hard to sort a Humax though. It's settings are like 'my first computer'. Wish we had more choice when it comes to Freesat.
