    Folks

Although I have 2 cables running from my dish (quad LNB), my 1000S only ever says that there's one cable plugged in.

If I go to Settings / System Information / Signal Info the message at the bottom is "Freesat box is connected with one cable."
If I'm only viewing a channel, only Tuner 1 shows a signal and quality strength - Tuner 2 is blank.
If I record something, it's the same.
If I record a second channel as well, sometimes it works, but sometimes a message says "Can't change channel whilst recording."

This behaviour suggests that the box isn't recognising one of the cables sometimes.

When the tuner signals do show, they both indicate "Good" for both strength and quality.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks

You have found the problem - 'Freesat box is connected with one cable'

It should state two cables if all is well.

    1. Carry out a factory reset to see if it then recognises two cables, if not then you will have to investigate cabling and connectors.

Factory reset did the trick, thanks.

Just my other issues to get sorted out now (unfortunately, the re-set hasn't helped the wireless connection issue I'm having).
