    Well for what it’s worth, I got a replacement box from Curry’s anyway. The new box has exactly the same problem, it simply will not access Netflix. Looking on the System Information, the ESN reads ‘HAZEL:ERROR - Insufficient Netflix. The software version on the box is UKTFAE 1.03.51. I’ve run a software update scan & this is the latest.
    Is there a fix to this apart from taking it back to the shop and exchanging for a Panasonic?

    Wait for the phased software update to get to your box.

    The problem is there are two threads that relate to the same issue.

    Perhaps a moderator would kindly merge the threads to remove the obvious confusion

    My box did a similar thing only, after selectying Netflix OR prssing the netflix button there was no error message, no error code, no black screen just went straight back to the TV picture.

    I've tried a factory default reset but this didn't resolve the issue.

    Worse recorder I've ever purchased.
