I've been told by Humax customer support that I need to do a complete Factory Reset, which is really annoying, but I was hoping was not needed but might be their first response because it's easy.

I have just been told by Humax customer support that I need to do a complete factory reset, which is annoying, but is probably their response because it's easiest for them.

Steve, have you had a look to see if a repeat of Quest appears on a higher numbered channel, probably in the 800s?Wow, strangely enough it's on channel 808
That sounds like your box was receiving from two transmitters when you did the retune and it selected the wrong one for you.
You might need to clear all your channels and do a series of manual retunes for each Mux on the correct transmitter for you. Do you know which is your correct transmitter?
If you do that, you will lose all of your scheduled recordings and so it is a good idea to take a photo of the schedule list before you start.
======
Edit: You might be able to get away with deleting channels 12 and 808 from your present setup and then doing a manual retune on Mux ARQ-B/COM6 only. You will still lose any scheduled recordings, but only on that Mux.

I've bitten the bullet and completed a manual reset of the box, it's all working now.
Just a pain to have to do this every time.
Amazing how many on the schedule are still there that are waaaay out of date, didn't know it kept them all even though the series had ended.
I'll go through the scheduled list every month now deleting the out of date ones.

In the future, you might be best to ignore any minor changes to channels which are not of interest to you.
You do not have to retune every time some obscure channel changes its name, or even its number, as long as it doesn't change Mux. Even then, if you don't watch it, don't bother.
I have not done a full retune on my 5000T for a very long time, just a single Mux manual retune when the BBC HD changes took place recently. For example, I am not bothered that ITV4 is still showing as 24 instead of 26, it still works (not sure how long ago it changed).
