Having come back to it later today the WiFi LAN setting sections were blank, but WiFi password remained. I now have the TV portal showing. It is unusable though as it simply takes forever to load. I have a very good WiFi signal in the room. The router is in the room above. What are people's experiences with WiFi vs. wired?

Try using a short USB extension cable for the dongle; often being able to move it slightly and change orientation can make all the difference.

I'll probably wait for the 'live' OTA update this due week

My error on previous post, S/W as supplied was probably 1.00.06 or something around there, I should have proof read my post a bit better.

And yes my support was on the 'poor' side , just glad I am IT literate.

I have just looked direct at the Humax support page. The updated software 1.01.13 has been placed for direct download replacing the previous 1.01.06 version.
