    Newly purchased HDR-2000T, wi-fi settings greyed out. Found firmware 1.01.06 on Humax site, successfully updated...still greyed out.

    I gather from what Barry Admin says that I might need an even newer firmware for the latest dongle packaged with this box. Is that right? Would gratefully receive a PM or a reply from anyone who might point me to the appropriate download.

    Another one here Barry with newly bought HDR-2000T and latest 300Mb dongle included in the box, but old software on the Humax box of 1.00.07. I would be very grateful for a link to the latest software.

    As an avid reader of the forum for my Humax 9300T, which is now sadly defunct, I have purchased a HDR2000T, 500 Gb version.

    Thanks to the FAQs and various links in this forum I have successfully manually tuned the set in an area that receives strong signals from both Emley Moor and Bilsdale as well as updating the software to 1.01.06.

    I am now looking to buy a wi-fi dongle, possibly a wi-fi extender, or, power line transmitters using an Ethernet cable and I gather from reading this topic I might need the latest software update that Barry has been referring to in order to configure the wi-fi set up. So Barry may I ask for that link to be pm'd to me please.

    You only need software if you purchase and intend to use the 300mb dongle, power line would be a better solution.

    If you purchase the 300 dongle then post again and I will, if not publically released by then, oblige.

    Many thanks, power line it will be if I cannot find/buy the Humax 300 dongle.

    I am awaiting an email reply from Humax for a source of the said dongle.
