Several months ago I set my Aura for deep sleep at 00:30 and to wake up at 11:30am, sometimes it works other times it doesn't. It can wake up at the correct time but shut itself down again and miss set recordings. Sometimes when I switch on from standby there is no picture or sound or both. Is there a way to reset it without losing my recordings?

Personally, I've found Deep Standby to be more trouble than it's worth. As you have, I also had failed recordings and a propensity for the Aura to start up on the Home screen instead of live tv.
The Aura does use more power in Normal Standby, but mine has been very reliable since not using Deep Standby.

I have mine set to go into deep standby at 11:30pm and reawaken at 3:00pm.
As far as I can tell it is working as expected and have not missed any recordings.
