Freesat signal drops, but STB is ok!

    I very much appreciate your assistance and advice!

    So bottom line is, I should expect signal strength and quality to be "good" at least....?

    Can you post a pic of the full strength signal? Would be good to show the installer minimum/optimal strength and quality I should expect....

    No problem

    My main PSB channels like BBC1-HD are 100/100. (A Foxsat-hdr gives you the actual percentages).

    Just thought I would share my own fix to this problem as I had the identical issue with no signal on satellite 2. When I took the satellite cable off the Humax box I noticed that the copper wire wasn't extending far enough...I assume therefore the box wasn't able to make a connection. I simply used a pair of pliers to pull more copper cable down and extend, screwed it back on and voila perfect signal and no more issues. Hope it helps
