    Dear Verno,

I had the same trouble and found no way to alter the sequence or make a favourites list! So I made a list on paper of the programmes of most interest (Astra-1) and surfed through the TV Transponders/Stations found, noting the related Humax numbers, which started at 5000. The Radio Stations start at about 8000. It's a real bind but at least Graham put us right over the secret menu. The absence of even a now/next EPG is also a nuisance. Good Luck! IAINB

Thanks, Graham. You seem to be on every forum with your experience and eagerness to help! You were right - the famous 7-colour code still works. It produced a non-freesat choice of Deseq, then a list of satellites from which I chose Astra1. (I presume a max. of 4 can be accommodated.) Then off went the HB and loaded several hundred programmes, TV and Radio. It is a pity we cannot make a favourite list or shuffle these into some sort of order. Regards. IAINB

Hi all, in the above post it is mentioned that the hidden menu for the HB1000-S has a DiSEqC setting, but mine does not seem to.

In the "hidden settings" menu I have:

    • freesat GEN2
    • Display CRID
    • Get network time
    • Debug Mode
    • Wifi Signal Strength
    • Reset PIN code

Am I in the wrong menu, or does the HB 1000 S not have this DiSEqC setting?

    Welcome to the Forum

    Wrong menu...

You have to be in non freesat mode from System settings, highlight transponder and then RGYBGYB

You can return to freesat mode via the Home menu
