HDMI intermittent fault

My Humax HDR 1010S HDMI port has started playing up intermittently but frequently. After 5 to 10 mins playback of a recorded programme, the TV loses the HDMI signal from Humax.

Other devices continue to connect to the TV using HDMI without problem. I've tried swapping the TV HDMI port, and also changed the HDMI cable but the problem continues. My TV doesn't have a SCART por, so I'm stuck. I'm reluctant to send the box back to Humax because the fault is intermittent.

Has anyone else seen this kind of fault? [I've found nothing logged in the forum].

Are you sure the TV doesn't have analogue inputs ? Most newer TV's have a port that looks a bit like a hdmi socket and needs a special lead with a scart socket on the end.

What's the make and model of the TV ?

Thank you for that. The TV is a Samsung UE40D8000YUXXU. I checked the manual, but there's not much information there.
