JamesB - 1 hour ago  » ...that blurb is from the manufacturer.

Which makes me very hesitant about buying the box on the assumption that these capabilities will be present. They told us 3 years ago the 1000S would have a server capability for streaming to other 1000S boxes. It took them 1 year (and following a complaint to ASA) to acknowledge that ITV player was not available in Scottish postcodes. Believe them on the basis of their press release? Yeh right!

I'm assuming the 1100S will have the same players and features as the 10*0S, plus built-in wireless.

Good assumption. So no Netflix then.

If/when Freesat and Netflix ever do tie the knot, I assume Netflix will come to all models. But it does seem unlikely that it will ever come to any.

Ah - that's an interesting comment.

I assume you mean freetime models. I doubt that the Foxsat will receive any more updates unless of a remedial type.

    Richer Sounds:

BBC iPlayer, ITV Player*, 4oD, Demand 5, as well as YouTube, BBC News, BBC Sport, and Curzon Home Cinema are all included in the Roll Back TV service.

Missed the kiddie player and misnamed All4.

I'll point out the errors in Humax Direct listing next time I speak with Humax Towers....

BTW - power indicator being on bottom of unit is next to useless!
