It's not always Humax that loses Hannington COM7 though. Tends to be, on this forum, because it's a Humax forum but see for instance https://community.youview.com/youview/topics/hannington-com7-problems?topic-reply-list%5Bsettings%5D%5Bfilter_by%5D=all&topic-reply-list%5Bsettings%5D%5Breply_id%5D=16166442#reply_1616644
As the loss is now occurring again, it might be interesting if any of those experiencing this wanted to post on the YouView forum - see if responses are elicited from any Huawei YouView owners.

I have a TalkTalk Huawei YouView box which has never lost COM7, checked over a period of time as members on this thread have reported a loss. Tuned to the Waltham transmitter, 38% signal strength (now), 100% quality, UHF channel 31, loft mounted aerial.

In this thread and the thread on the YouView forum, it's mainly the Hannington transmitter that's been reported.

It could be down to the work going on at the transmitter, combined maybe with some as-yet-unidentified quirk of some tuners (not always Humax).

I don't recall these issues ever being reported on th HDR Fox T2. While there might be weather and engineering works making it more likely, the 2000T does seem more susceptible than the HDR Fox T2.

My 2000T as lost com 7 all together, my Humax 4000T freeview play box seems to be picking com 7 up OK at the moment. My wife's BT youview box is still picking it up but it is struggling, it takes about 20 seconds to pick up a com 7 channel, but once it as picked it up, it seems to be OK until you put it in to standby, very strange it seems to forget where it is until it finds it again. Com 7 is a very strange signal at the moment.

It would be interesting to know whether the late production HDR-FOX T2s with the revised tuner arrangement suffer from this problem.

Com 7 came back on my 2000T and and my BT youview box on Thursday afternoon, and went again last night about 8pm.
    I have also got a Humax 4000T
freeview play box which I have had for a couple of months and it don't seem to be affected at all, it works well on Com7 channels.

Down for me too. I'm still not clear as to what's going on.

From what I can gather it seems only to be affecting The Humax 1800T, the 2000T and most youview boxes. Very strange.

A random check tonight and Com7 is back again for me! Don't know how long it's been back.
