HDR1100S "search" no longer working

    For some reason I am no longer able to "search" for programs - it accepts my search string but finds nothing !! I have power cycled the box (>30sec) and done a channel scan but it made no difference. All other functions work OK including recording programs selected from the guide.
    Is there any way to fix this ??

    Nope - still the same. It wasnt internet related It was a search for stuff on the program guide.

    Doesn't the search also attempt to bring back On Demand results?

    It seems that it does - I power cycled the box and all seems OK at the moment !!

    Doohh Is it just me or is it broken again ??
    Box shows an ethernet connection but it cannot load "on demand" page.

    I have discovered that unpluging the ethernet cable allows search to work.

    I'm not too bothered by not having on demand, but it is annoying as I do occasionaly use "catchup" for series.
