Hi, been having similar problems with an 1100s, as in the remote would only turn it on or off. It was playing a recording at the time and I was trying to skip an advert.
I ended up pulling the plug, waiting 20 seconds and starting again. Worked.
Next problem was it wouldn't turn on. Unplugged etc.
The first time I was around 25% disk ful and I deleted some files bringing it down to 20%ish. 2nd time disk usage had gone up and I deleted a raft of recordings down to 18% and so far so good.
Question is can I copy the current recordings to USB, format drive and restore recordings....or if I take the drive out of the Humax, copy the files
Format the drive and restore the files....will it be able to play the restored files.
If that works will it be ok to replace the hard druve with a 500mb solid state?
Just don't want to loose my unseen tv recordings.
