    I have a humax hdr-1100s

If I record BBC1 it records Scotland BBC1 and regular BBC1.
I would rather delete unwanted channels.

I don’t find the settings option - someone please guide me.
Annoying, expensive kit but not essy to delete channels.
Please NO FAVOURITE suggestions....that is not the answer I’m looking for.

Thanks all for your help - it’s appreciated

When looking in settings perhaps you missed the massive > on the right.

    Massive > ?

Please only respond with sensible answers - I suspect you don’t have the hdr-1100s model and your assuming they are the same

    Cheers

Thanks for your very condescending reply / which is correct.
However, I’d like to point out this fact to others not in the know in a less pig headed approach.

The large arrow as mentioned by the poster, will only allow you to edit channels if the hdr-1100s box is NOT recording. If it is recording you only have 1 option available - Edit Favourites.

Yes, indeed you can edit all channels when not recording. I do record quite a bit in prime hours when I’m using the TV so I found editing during the day revealed the missing options.

The user interface is identical on all 3 of the G2 boxes. Anyone of us whatever box we have would have given the same answer.

As to not allowing channel editing while recording applies to any Humax box. What if you tried to delete one of the up to two channels you were recording.

The issue you had is well known. It's down to the way the BBC sets the recording CRID's and happens when one nation shows a different episode to the others. Typically Scotland might miss a episode for nation news issues.

You should simply delete unwanted nation channels from the block.

I certainly did not intend by response to be condescending at all. It was more a dig a freesat's design as many posters have missed the massively oversized arrow. A simple next icon would have been better.

Perhaps if you bothered to read the instructions fully, you wouldn't need to ask such basic questions and then get in a strop when you are answered?

You have had the box for years and did not realise that lots of options for obvious reasons are greyed out while recording

A retune is an obvious one,

Speaks volumes as to your total lack of observation. Amazed any long term pvr owner is not aware of this basic fact.

Your right, but I no longer have the instructions unfortunately. Thanks for pointing out the bleeding obvious and chiming in with m, well quite frankly, useless implied observation. Good 1.
